"Fun vibe, but the crowd control was rough"
I had a good time overall — the vibe was definitely there, but the crowd control really wasn’t great. There were way too many bottlenecks, the exits weren’t very clear, and some of the staff seemed just as unsure as everyone else. It got stressful at times, not enough to ruin the whole experience, but enough that I really hope they handle it better next year.

"Getting there was more hassle than I expected"
I went to Brighton Pride by the time we actually got in I already felt a bit worn out. The info on the website was fine enough, but the reality of getting there was still stressful, the trains were rammed and the walk from the station took longer than we’d planned for.
The signs when we arrived could’ve been clearer too, and after dealing with the crowds and queues I really didn’t have much patience left for wandering around trying to work out where to go. We ended up asking staff in the end. It turned into a good day, but the start definitely took it out of me

"The updates came through a bit slower..."
The updates came through a bit slower than I expected, and I feel like the information could be clearer. It was not a bad experience, but a little more detail would have helped.

"I’ll be honest, I was a little..."
I’ll be honest, I was a little suspicious at first when we got lost and a bunch of staff and volunteers immediately offered to help. But they were genuinely lovely and pointed us in the right direction without making us feel silly about it

"Felt a bit pricey for the experience"
I was really hoping to enjoy it more, but the price felt steep for what was included. It wasn’t awful or anything, I just kept thinking I’d paid a lot to feel a bit like another ticket number moving through the day.
The food and drinks weren’t exactly cheap either, so it all added up quicker than expected. I understand events are expensive to run, but from the visitor side it didn’t feel like great value.
There were still some nice moments and the atmosphere was good in parts, but I’m not sure I’d be rushing to pay that much again. For the cost, I expected it to feel a bit more worthwhile

"Kinda fun day at the parade"
I had a really nice time at the parade. The whole vibe was kinda fun and lively, and it just made for an easy, enjoyable day out.
"Really slow to get a response"
I had to wait ages to hear back, and when the reply finally came through, it didn’t really help. You kind of expect a quicker response and something a bit more useful when you reach out

"Surprisingly painless ticket buying"
I bought my Brighton Pride tickets through the site and, to be fair, it was a lot smoother than I expected. The pages loaded properly, payment went through first try, and the confirmation email turned up quickly. It’s not exactly the most exciting website in the world, but it did the job without giving me a headache, which is more than I can say for some ticket sites. I’d probably use it again next year.
"The site looks nice, but trying..."
The site looks nice, but trying to find tickets and event times was more annoying than it should’ve been. On my phone, the menus felt kind of messy, and I had to tap around way too much, just to get the basic details...
"The site was really easy to get..."
The site was really easy to get around, and the accessibility page actually covered most of the stuff I needed to know, which was a big relief. Like I said, it was clear about accessible viewing, toilets, travel, and carers without making it feel overcomplicated.
I appreciated that it felt genuinely useful, not just a random page added for the sake of it. Like I said, it made planning the day way less stressful, so it’s 5 stars from me.

"Worked okay, but didn’t feel very secure"
The site technically worked, but I didn’t feel fully safe using it. A few pages looked outdated, and when it came to buying or entering my details, I wasn’t really sure what was secure and what wasn’t. The safety info for the event was there somewhere, but it was scattered all over the place and I had to click around way too much, which felt kind of ridiculous. Maybe everything is fine behind the scenes, but it didn’t really give me much confidence. 2 stars from me.

"Way better loos than I expected"
I went to Brighton Pride fully expecting the toilets to be an absolute disaster, and I was already annoyed just thinking about having to queue forever. But they were much better than I thought they’d be.
The queues actually moved quickly, which was a relief because I’ve got zero patience for standing around when there’s music and everything else going on. There were staff about keeping things stocked, and most of the time there was toilet paper, which feels like a small miracle at a big event.
They weren’t fancy, obviously, but they were clean enough, easy to find, and didn’t wind me up, which is saying something. It made the day a lot less stressful, so yeah, 5 stars from me.

"Annoyingly Smooth All Day"
I was fully prepared to spend half the day standing around complaining, but somehow the queues moved quickly and the staff actually knew what they were doing. Very inconsiderate of them to make the whole day so well organised.

"Nice vibe, just a little much"
I mean, overall it was a fun spot and the vibe felt really inclusive, which I appreciated. Totally fine, totally chill. It was just... a bit crowded, so moving around wasn’t exactly relaxing. But yeah, still had a good time.

"Easy to follow, which is what I noticed most"
I didn’t focus on every little detail, but the layout immediately stood out to me because it was simple to follow. I could find what I needed without feeling stressed or overthinking it.

"Loads of good food and drinks"
Went to Brighton Pride and really enjoyed the food options. There was loads to choose from, including plenty of veggie stuff, not just the usual chips and burgers, although they had those too if you wanted them.
Drinks were easy enough to grab and the queues moved way quicker than I expected. Prices were what you’d expect at a festival, but nothing too outrageous. Had a brilliant day and I’d definitely go back again.

"Really solid lineup this year"
The lineup was strong this year, there was a nice mix of different acts. Not every artist was my thing, but overall I had a really good time and enjoyed most of it
